Bio

Vinicios Sant’Anna is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for Real Estate (MIT CRE). He is an applied microeconomist with specialties in Urban Economics, Real Estate, and International Trade. His research builds on understanding the impacts of immigration on real estate, housing, and neighborhood dynamics. More broadly, he studies the determinants and consequences of international and regional economic integration through migration, trade, and investment. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2022.
