Bio

Saleh Mamun, a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Minnesota, specializes in environmental and natural resource economics, as well as ecological economics. His research focuses on optimizing natural resource management decisions while considering nature’s contributions to society. He also utilizes non-market valuation techniques to measure responses to environmental factors.

Saleh is an active member of The Natural Capital Project, a collaborative initiative between Stanford University and the University of Minnesota. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New Mexico and has six years of experience in engineering, marketing, and government in Bangladesh, providing a multifaceted perspective on environmental issues.
