Oliver J. Dunford is a senior attorney at the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF). Since joining PLF in March 2017, he has litigated cases across the United States, advocating for the separation of powers, economic liberty, and property rights.
Prior to joining PLF, Oliver served as a clerk at the Ohio Supreme Court and the Ohio Court of Appeals. He also worked for over a decade in private practice, focusing on complex commercial litigation.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Oliver earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. While at Cleveland-Marshall, he served as a managing editor for the Cleveland State Law Review. Oliver is admitted to the state bars of Florida, California, and Ohio, as well as several federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
