Bio

Leslie is an attorney and civil rights advocate, joining FIRE from Utah’s Libertas Institute, where she focused on privacy policy. She’s also practiced law in Oklahoma. With a strong commitment to classical liberalism, Leslie is passionate about civil liberties, especially the freedom of thought, speech, and expression. She aims to promote a comprehensive understanding of the foundations of liberty.

Leslie has participated in the Mercatus Center’s Bastiat Fellowship and the American Institute for Economic Research’s Visiting Fellowship programs. She’s a member of the Federalist Society and contributes to Young Voices. Leslie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Constitutional Studies. She earned her JD from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
