Bio

Jessica Melugin currently holds the position of Director at the Center for Technology & Innovation within the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Her research spans various facets of technology, encompassing antitrust, online privacy, Internet taxation, telecommunications, social media content, and net neutrality regulation. Her writings have graced the pages of reputable publications, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and many others. She has also been cited in well-known outlets like The Washington Post, Politico, and Variety.

Ms. Melugin has made notable appearances on prominent news channels such as Fox News, CNBC, and CSPAN, as well as NPR’s Marketplace and The David Webb Show on SiriusXM. She is a regular guest on terrestrial radio programs.

Additionally, she is a recognized Innovators Network Foundation Antitrust and Competition Policy Fellow for both 2022 and 2023.

Ms. Melugin graduated magna cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in government and art history, and her honors thesis delved into the evolution of American antitrust law, particularly in relation to the Microsoft trial. She currently resides in Virginia’s horse country with her children.
