Evan Mast is an assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame in the Department of Economics. He is an applied microeconomist specializing in urban economics and public finance. His work is focused on housing markets and place-based policies and has been published in American Economic Journal: Applied Economics and Regional Science and Urban Economics.
Mast earned his PhD in Economics in 2017 from Stanford University. Previously, he studied mathematics and economics at the University of Wisconsin as an undergraduate.
