Bio

Eric Goldman is a law professor at Santa Clara University, where he’s also an Associate Dean for Research. He’s widely recognized for his expertise in Internet, intellectual property, and advertising law. He shares his insights on these topics through his blog, the Technology & Marketing Law Blog.

Before coming to Santa Clara, he taught law at Marquette University and worked as a lawyer in Silicon Valley. During this time, he served as the General Counsel of Epinions.com, an online consumer review platform.

Eric’s educational journey began at UCLA, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business. He continued his studies at UCLA, obtaining both a law degree (JD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Anderson School. His academic and practical experiences have shaped his deep understanding of the legal and business aspects of the digital world.
