Bio

Dr. Edwards is an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. His work is focused on the economics and management of natural resources like water, land, and fisheries, both now and historically. His research has been funded by the USDA, NOAA, and the National Science Foundation.

Dr. Edwards runs an Extension Program in Resource Economic Policy and Governance focused on water economics, coastal resources, climate change, and public lands. He holds a Ph.D. in economics and environmental science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as an MBA from the University of Rochester and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Idaho. He teaches an interdisciplinary undergraduate/graduate course in water economics.
