Emily Vargo
Bio
Emily Vargo is the Director of Public Policy Research and Academic Programs to the Knee Center for the Study of Occupational Regulation (CSOR) at Saint Francis University. She manages research efforts such as student research content validity and grant funded research projects for the center, as well as, student programing. The student program events include an annual student colloquium, research fellow recruitment efforts, educational student session on occupational licensing and academic research poster sessions.
Before coming to Saint Francis University, Ms. Vargo worked for the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a graduate assistant for several departments. Ms. Vargo received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University as well as two Masters Degrees from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Public Affairs and a Masters of Employment and Labor Relations.
