Bio

Colombe Ladreit, a PhD Candidate at Bocconi University, is actively engaged in research under the guidance of Tito Boeri, Vincenzo Galasso, and Giulia Giupponi. Her academic pursuits focus on the fields of political economy, public economics, and behavioural economics. Specifically, she explores the impact of economic shocks on political attitudes and public policy preferences.

Throughout her doctoral studies, Colombe Ladreit has undertaken various professional endeavors. She has undertaken research visits to the Harvard Business School and has contributed her expertise to organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and has also participated in a COVID evaluation mission for the French government. Prior to embarking on her PhD, Colombe Ladreit gained valuable experience working at the European Central Bank (ECB), the French Treasury, and the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
