CGO Contributing Scholar Agnitra Roy Choudhury is an assistant professor on the tenure track at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM).

Choudhury is an applied microeconomist with a focus on the impact of regulations on health care markets, labor markets, and entrepreneurship. He received his Ph.D. from Binghamton University in 2018. Most of his current projects focus on scope of practice laws and certificate of need laws. In addition to studying health care and labor market regulations, he has projects ranging from entrepreneurship to the impact of legalizing cannabis on public health. His research papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals like Vaccine, Health Policy, Economics Letters, Applied Economics Letters, and the Journal of Risk & Financial Management.
