Pierre Desrochers

Pierre Desrochers is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Toronto Mississauga. His main research interests are economic development and energy, environmental and food policy.
He has published or co-authored three books, including the 2018-19 Donner Prize short-listed Population Bombed! Exploding the Link Between Overpopulation and Climate Change, over fifty academic articles and over 200 columns on these and other topics.
Professor Desrochers is affiliated with numerous think tanks in Canada, the United States, and France. His work has been awarded or has been short-listed for a variety of academic and policy prizes.
