Megan E. Hansen and Christopher Koopman Participate in Tech Policy Bootcamp

Together with the James Madison Institute, the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University held a joint tech policy event in Tallahassee, Florida on March 27, 2019. The first-ever Tech Policy Bootcamp brought together a diverse group of policy specialists to engage with national leaders and explore the intersection of innovation and policy in several areas including workforce development, transportation infrastructure, privacy and security, and telecommunications.

CGO Research Director Megan Hansen, and Senior Director of Strategy and Research Christopher Koopman were among the featured panelists that also included Jennifer Huddleston of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, and Rick Cimerman, Vice President of External and State Affairs of the Internet and Television Association. Florida Senator Jeffrey Brandes was the keynote speaker of the event.
